ZEISS ClearView Single Vision Lenses
Single Vision just got upgraded.
With ZEISS ClearView Single Vision Lenses you can offer your patients all the benefits of freeform optimization in standard single vision lenses; and is available as either an Rx surfaced or a Finished Single Vision stock lens.
Standard Single Vision lenses compromise on optics.
Across the globe, standard single vision lenses are the most sold ophthalmic lens type thanks to their low cost and fast delivery time. However, standard single vision lenses typically do not provide great optics away from the lens center. The demand for flatter and thinner standard single vision lenses, has also compromised their peripheral optical performance.
ZEISS ClearView Single Vision Lenses
Inspired by patient demandPatients demand comfort and clarity, but standard single vision lenses compromise on optics.2 ZEISS tackled the biggest opportunity for optical improvement in conventional single vision lens designs. We did this by advancing single vision lens optimization and by identifying a method to evaluate optical quality. Assessing the quality of optics in single vision lenses is complex. Lens power is typically measured in the center, but little attention is paid to optical performance and vision clarity across the entire lens.
A breakthrough in optics and aesthetics.
With ZEISS ClearView Single Vision Lenses, patients will experience excellent vision clarity from the lens center to the periphery, in a lens that is flatter, thinner, and more attractive than standard lens designs that rely on steeper base curves to provide acceptable optical performance.
Proven patient satisfaction with ZEISS ClearView Single Vision Lenses
Confirmed by a wearer trial with single vision lens wearers using a blind product testing procedure, ZEISS ClearView SV Lenses are proven superior to conventional SV lenses.2-
