Andreas Pecher will become President & CEO of the ZEISS Group as of 1 April 2025. He has been a Member of the Executive Board of the ZEISS Group since 2022. He headed the Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology segment and held the position of President and CEO of Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH from 2022 until 2024.
Andreas Pecher was born in 1971 in Würzburg, Germany. He studied physics at the University of Texas at Austin, USA, and graduated in 1994 (Master of Arts). In 1997 he graduated from the University of Würzburg (Diploma). In 2005 he also completed an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management in Illinois, USA, and an MEM at Northwestern University in Illinois, USA.
