Digital Shop Floor Management for the Production Platform of Volkswagen

Greater automation and improved quality

Volkswagen AG has established a digital production platform (DPP) to increase the level of automation in its production lines in the future using cloud technologies. Part of the project is a new digital shop floor management system. Together with the VW Software Development Center, we are developing this innovative solution, which uses a digital representation of the production lines in the plant to make production processes more efficient and increase the reusability of solutions worldwide. The distributed, agile and collaborative partnership is contributing significantly to goal-oriented product development.
