  • Small diopter steps, enhanced precision and accuracy
  • Harnessing our heritage to offer a broad choice of optical designs

Based on our optical heritage, ZEISS IOLs are designed to meet every surgeon’s preference and address the distinct needs of each patient. Featuring a comprehensive selection of trifocal, toric, EDoF and monofocal designs across two distinct platforms (C-loop and 4-point haptic), our IOLs ensure versatility and precision in vision correction.

  • ZEISS Optic Design

The sophisticated and patented ZEISS Optic (ZO) Asphericity Concept of the ZEISS CT LUCIA 621P/PY is designed to compensate for a wide range of aberrations resulting from different corneal shapes and lens positions. With its uniquely forgiving design, it delivers good visual outcomes for a broad range of patients and surgical situations.

  • A diopter range that defines industry standards

ZEISS IOLs are available in a wide range of diopter powers (-10.0D to +45.0D1), meeting the needs of surgeons and patients alike including those with very high corneal astigmatism, extreme myopia, and/or extreme hyperopia.

  • Small diopter steps, enhanced precision and accuracy

ZEISS IOLs are available in small diopter increments (0.5D increments) across the whole diopter range2 including cylinder steps for toric IOLs allowing for increased accuracy in IOL choice, helping ensure optimal visual results.

ZEISS IOLs are available in two distinct lens platforms. ZEISS hydrophilic IOLs feature non-angulated 4-point haptics, ZEISS hydrophobic IOLs have a specially designed optic-haptic junction. Both ensure a consistent and stable axial IOL position in the capsular bag with long-term stable visual outcomes.

  • Delivering optimal vision across all distances

ZEISS IOLs are meticulously engineered to provide optimal vision at near, intermediate, and far distances, so patients can experience excellent visual clarity in every aspect of their lives.

Cataract patients lose the ability to see colors clearly and shapes and outlines sharply. ZEISS IOLs are designed to provide excellent contrast sensitivity after surgery, ensuring that everyday tasks like reading newspapers, driving, and recognizing faces are no longer a challenge.

High-quality biomaterials for optimal results

High-quality biomaterials for optimal results

Available in both hydrophilic and hydrophobic lens materials, our comprehensive portfolio addresses aspects such as cosmetic reflections, chromatic aberration, positive dysphotopsia, and contrast sensitivity, ensuring optimal outcomes for every patient.

  • Limiting surface reflections, improving vision comfort
  • Minimal distortion, optimized performance
  • Combining material characteristics and optical design to enhance contrast sensitivity
  • Limiting surface reflections, improving vision comfort

Our hydrophobic and hydrophilic IOLs feature materials with low refractive index, minimising straylight at the IOL interface and reducing external reflections and glare. Reducing these phenomena aims to improve visual quality for patients.
