Utilização de fluorescência no tratamento de tumores cerebrais
Neste webinar gravado, John Y. K. Lee, MD, MSCE (a partir do minuto 00:57), Jeffrey N. Bruce, MD (a partir do minuto 17:54), e Constantinos G. Hadjipanayis, MD, PhD (a partir do minuto 37:29) falam sobre a utilização da fluorescência no tratamento de tumores cerebrais.
O Dr. Lee apresenta a técnica de utilização da cirurgia guiada por imagens de fluorescência com ICG de infravermelhos próximos em diferentes casos neurocirúrgicos, como gliomas, metástases e meningiomas. O Dr. Bruce partilha a sua experiência na ressecção guiada por fluoresceína de glioblastomas com e sem realce. É feita uma breve comparação entre o 5-ALA e a fluoresceína sódica, seguida da apresentação dos resultados de estudos relacionados com a utilização da orientação intraoperatória com fluoresceína na cirurgia do glioblastoma. O Dr. Hadjipanayis fala sobre a cirurgia guiada por fluorescência com o 5-ALA para tumores cerebrais após a aprovação do Gleolan pela FDA.
