ZEISS Point markers
Measurement with higher accuracy
In order to achieve precise measurements during 3D scanning, reference point markers are employed. These markers are adhesive and attached to the object before scanning begins. As the scanning progresses, the markers are identified and labeled, enabling the software to correctly align the various scans and ensure accurate measurements.
ZEISS Point markers
Reference point markers are crucial for achieving accurate measurements during 3D scanning. High reference point markers have stronger adhesives that can adhere better to rough surfaces and resist temperatures up to 120°C.
The size of the markers used depends on the type of 3D scanner and the measuring volume required. The markers are detected and numbered during scanning, enabling the software to align different scans correctly.
