ZEISS INSPECT X-Ray 2025
New features
ZEISS INSPECT X-Ray 2025 – New highlight features
The new software update offers numerous new features and optimized functions for higher productivity. Unlocking possibilities and insights specifically related to volume data on top of the powerful ZEISS INSPECT foundation in surface-based 3D metrology.
Multiview
Expanding Multiview UI with new section views
Discover the new ways to visualize and analyze complex geometries. Unroll cylindrical and conical sections into a flat view or follow a 3D path through your CT data. The improved visualization of volume slices with the brightness curve adds a new dimension to CT data visual inspection.
Multi-material parts
Improved inspection of assemblies
With this release we provide new methods for manual Region of Interest definition. The interactive creation of volume regions improves manual CT data segmentation workflows. With the Sub-parts concept parts of a multi-material or a multi-component data set share linked volume, alignments and ROIs which improves the user experience for multi-material projects and assemblies.
Smart volume-based defect detection
Intelligent tools for defect detection
With this release we offer improved support for the most recognized standard for evaluating defects in light metal castings with CT – P203 adding the ability to use arbitrary-shaped ROIs for local evaluations and the Q-Factor.
GD&T enhancements
Enhanced metrology functions
With this release the latest ISO and ASME GD&T standards are supported for the whole project. The enhancements include new integrated GD&T expert filters for geometry primitives and PMI improvements like TED, data management & datum parsing.
Performance
Further improvements
With this release we provide performance improvements for many often-used CT features, including for example volume filtering which is now up to 50 times faster or polygonization which is now up to 20 times faster.
