ATOS ScanBox Series 7
Production control of large and heavy parts
Automated 3D metrology for car body construction, press shops and try-out toolmaking: With ATOS ScanBox Series 7, you can digitize and inspect large and heavy parts such as automotive side panels and hang-on parts up to ten meters in size. Welded assemblies for transportation, mechanical engineering and aircraft construction can also be measured. The area-based measurement data allows the evaluation of hole pattern, trim and character lines.
ATOS ScanBox Series 7: Large measuring fields and modular layout
8-axis kinematics
Eight degrees of freedom for more flexible sensor positioning
Due to the 8-axis kinematics - a combination of horizontal rail, vertical lift and an articulated robot - the full-field measurements of large and heavy parts is easy. Thanks to the eight degrees of freedom, the ATOS sensor is very flexible in its positioning and captures 3D data of the smallest details in the shortest possible time.
Modular layout
One system - adaptable to your needs
For even higher throughput, you can expand ATOS ScanBox 7160 with an additional rotation table working area as required. An upgrade to ATOS ScanBox Series 8 is also possible without any problems due to standardized construction components.
Flexible loading options
Optimized planning for efficient workflows
ATOS ScanBox Series 7 can be loaded with a driverless sandwich panel transport system including track system, drive computer and safety technology. Alternatively, the parts can be transported into the respective working areas using a transport cart or lifting truck, crane or forklift truck.
High-speed scanning with ATOS 5 & ATOS 5X
Full-field acquisition of complex geometries
Thanks to highly developed camera technology, a powerful light source and high-performance software, ATOS 5 achieves a new level of performance, especially when measuring shiny and dark surfaces, fine structures and edges. The technology speeds up the overall measurement time and delivers precise 3D measurement data at the same time. ATOS 5X uses the integrated Laser Light Compressor to generate ultra-bright light. This enables measuring fields of up to 1000 mm with very short exposure times.
Virtual Measuring Room
Real environment in a virtual simulation
The Virtual Measuring Room (VMR) is the central control and measurement planning software for all elements of the optical 3D measuring machine. In it, the real environment is functionally represented in a virtual simulation. The VMR consists of a robot with a sensor, the programming, including the kinematics of the robot paths, the part and the measurement plan. Thanks to the VMR, the user does not need any special robot expertise. All robot movements are simulated in the Virtual Measuring Room before execution and checked for safety.
