Inbound Freight Routing Material Guidelines

Important:

• PO# or Zeiss Reference # and correct Zeiss entity name must be referenced correctly on all shipping documents otherwise payment will revert to the shipper.
• As a Zeiss supplier, it is your responsibility to comply with your local country export laws and regulations.
• Please do NOT add additional insurance with the carrier, ZEISS is self-insured.
• Please do NOT add a “Declared Value” for shipments.

To allow for customs clearance in the U.S. the following must be correct:

• Commercial invoice must be in English showing USD for each part number.
• Commercial invoice must reflect Zeiss part numbers.
• Country of origin cannot be "EU" and must show country where products were manufactured (e.g., Germany).
• U.S. Customs requires manufacturer’s information for all China origin goods: Full legal company name, complete address and a valid zip code on the commercial invoice.
• HAZMAT/TSCA certifications must be included at time of export.

Freight Invoices

All carriers listed below are already set up to invoice Zeiss directly through CTSI-Global, our freight payment and auditing provider. Carl Zeiss Logistics team can get you an account to upload invoices within the CTSI website, please contact logistics.metrology.us@zeiss.com to get a login.
