広視野蛍光ズーム式顕微鏡
16倍ズームとNA 0.25の高開口数を備えたAxio Zoom.V16は、これまでの実体顕微鏡とズーム顕微鏡を超えた顕微鏡です。中間ズーム域でも非常に高い開口数を達成します。広い範囲で明るい像が得られるため、蛍光コントラストでモデル生物の全体像を観察できます。

明視野、暗視野、偏斜照明での観察に加えて、Best Modeでは高コントラストの明視野観察が可能です。Axio Zoom.V16が光学的な状態を判断し、自動的に透過光を最適化します。アプリケーションに合わせて正確に調整した設定を保存しておけば、次の実験ではボタンを押すだけで設定を呼び出すことができます。

eZoomにより画像のシャープさが2倍に
ズームボディは、実体顕微鏡とズーム顕微鏡の核となる部分です。ズームする際は、レンズの位置を正確に調整しなければなりません。これまで、顕微鏡の操作の正確性と光学品質は、精密にミリングされた金属部品に依存していました。
eZoomを使うことで、機械式曲線が電子的曲線へと変わります。ステッピングモーターにより、可動レンズの公差を考慮に入れた、レンズの正確な位置決めが行われます。各ズームボディが独自のズーム曲線を描き、より多くのディテールを明瞭に捉えます。eZoomは、ズーム域全体における画像シャープネスの基準線を、機械式ズームボディと比べ2倍の精度で追従します。
