At all times, you are able to stay focused on your sample. With the press of a single button right on your microscope stand, you can acquire crisp images in true color, just as you see them through the eyepieces. The system automatically adjusts all parameters for you and adds the correct scaling information automatically to your saved image. All this is happening in a stand-alone operation, without needing a PC or additional software.

A New Routine Imaging Workflow

Efficiency and quality are key in your lab, but it can take a lot of time to acquire detail-rich, true-color images. You now the drill: place the sample, focus your region of interest, switch to the computer, adjust settings such as white balance, exposure time and gain, then acquire an image, insert a scale bar, switch back to the microscope, and so on.

Smart Microscopy allows you to stay focused on your sample. Pressing the Snap button on the microscope is all you have to do. Your microscope automatically adjusts all imaging parameters, like white balance and exposure time. The procedure integrates with your established microscopy workflow and boosts your efficiency tremendously.

Clever Ergonomics for a Comfortable Lab Work

Access all main controls with just one hand, including the Snap button, stage drive, focus adjustments, and brightness control. Ergotubes and the height and torque adaptable rackless stage allow you to work in a comfortable position, even during extended use. Simply adjust the viewing height to find the most comfortable position. The dual specimen holder means fewer slide changes, e.g. when examining IHC slides.

Overall, manual steps are minimized, allowing you to work more efficiently and in greater comfort.

ZEISS Axiolab 5

ZEISS Axiolab 5 is made for the routine work that goes on every day in your lab. Its compact and ergonomic design saves lab space and allows for easy handling. The new powerful white LED illumination with very high color rendering index enables you to visualize your sample in true color. The constant color temperature of the LED facilitates system operation and digital documentation. For fluorescence, the powerful LEDs in various wavelength are both energy efficient and easier to handle than conventional HBO illumination. You are also avoiding warm-up and cool-down times, lamp replacement, and lamp adjustment.

ZEISS Axioscope 5

ZEISS Axioscope 5 is your microscope for biomedical routine and research. For easy multi-channel fluorescence documentation, combine Axioscope 5 with the high performance LED light source Colibiri 3. Switch easily between the channels for UV, blue, green, and red excitation. Just select the relevant channel and acquire your image. Its transmitted white light LED provides a powerful illumination with a high color fidelity. The light intensity manager produces uniform brightness at all magnifications. Adjusting lamp brightness when you change magnification is a thing of the past.

ZEISS Axiocam 202 mono is your 2 megapixel monochrome microscope camera for routine fluorescence documentation. With this CMOS sensor camera, you are able to acquire monochrome images in stand-alone mode with a single press of a button, no PC is needed. Attach your storage medium via USB 3.0, or a monitor via HDMI directly to your camera.
