Efficiency Unlocked: Workflow Wizardry with Celldiscoverer 7

This workshop will cover aspects of automating workflows including end to end workflows combining image acquisition to analysis on the ZEISS Celldiscoverer 7. Current owners of ZEISS Celldiscoverer 7 or ZEISS Celldiscoverer 7 with LSM 900 having any level of operational knowledge will primarily benefit this workshop.

This is a four-hour remote session with a 30 minute break broadcasted from the ZEISS Microscopy Customer Center (ZMCC) in Dublin, CA. The primary purpose of the virtual workshop is to enable users to become proficient with setting up efficient workflows on their CD7. Users looking for a deeper dive into topics for e.g use of tiles and positions, focus strategies etc. are recommended to enroll in any of our immersive in person 2-day workshops.

Topics that will be covered in this workshop include:

• Hardware overview and sample loading
• Screening multi-well plates in widefield mode incorporating an analysis routine utilizing BioApps for nuclear count, confluency, gene and protein expression
• High resolution imaging utilizing LSM, Airyscan and mixed modalities
• Introduction to Guided Acquisition workflow combining screening for features of interest with high-resolution imaging

• Existing users of ZEISS Celldiscoverer7 and ZEISS Celldiscoverer7 with LSM 900
• Infrequent users looking for a refresher on setting up workflows and gain higher level of proficiency
• Lab managers or technicians looking to improve their own skill level to better support and/or train other users of the instrument

Learning Objectives after completion of this workshop, attendees should:

• Possess an improved ability to select imaging parameters to yield high-quality images of their samples
• Have greater confidence with setting up experiments and troubleshooting challenging sample types and analyzing acquired datasets.
• Be connected with the North American Applications team who can support them as they work towards acquiring the best data possible
