Moonbase: The Next Steps

It has been over 50 years since humankind last set foot on the moon… Now we are going back... Multinational efforts are being made to return before the end of this decade and to stay for good.

MOONBASE: THE NEXT STEP tells the story of this human endeavour, visualising the scientific and technological advances needed to achieve this dream. How to safely travel 250,000 miles and survive the hostile and alien conditions of reduced gravity, extreme temperatures and toxic lunar dust. How do we establish a foothold on the Moon? Can we explore the vast landscape and extract the resources needed to live there on a permanent basis?

MOONBASE: THE NEXT STEP will place the viewer in an immersive environment that shows the sheer scale of the Moon itself and the huge task of surviving in such a hostile place. The audience will experience spectacular soaring visuals moving seamlessly from contemporary 3d animations into photo-real ‘point of view’ visuals, as we dock, land and explore the lunar world around us.
