This quality is the result of the symbiosis of the best chip technology and outstanding projection optics. That is why we equip our projectors with high-performance lenses from the ZEISS DIGIGON series. High-quality optical components, manufactured with precision at ZEISS, are optimally assembled according to optical calculations in order to complete the image.
Above-average image quality
The high-quality optics from ZEISS have particularly light-transmitting properties, so that transmission losses are reduced to a minimum across the entire color spectrum, including the infrared range. ZEISS DIGIGON lenses guarantee that the high native contrast of the ZEISS VELVET SIM projector achieved by double modulation actually reaches the projection screen.
No optical distortions
ZEISS DIGIGON lenses have been specially designed for dome projection, which is why they project with particularly low distortion on spherical surfaces. Even at the edge of the image, the quality is not affected by chromatic aberration and optical distortion. This ensures that every single pixel contributes to the razor-sharp projection.
