ZEISS launches The Digital Nature Hub

A virtual experience in Nature Observation, from the comfort of your own home

ZEISS is excited to announce the launch of the new ZEISS Digital Nature Hub. This online platform is now live and offers access to a new virtual exhibition experience, lecture schedule, the latest product information and exclusive new content – all from the comfort of your own home. From the 21 to 23 August, the hub will truly come to life with a whole host of live activities, including a program of online lectures and the opportunity to live chat with ZEISS product specialists.

Visitors to the ZEISS Digital Nature Hub can preview the upcoming lecture schedule now and are invited to reserve their place. ZEISS will be hosting a series of exclusive live talks planned from a number of ZEISS Ambassadors and Partners, including Simon King, Nick Baker, Mark Pearson and ZEISS specialist Dr. Gerold Dobler. In his talk Dobler will discuss traditional identification (ID) features for ringtail Hen Harriers in current bird and raptor ID guides compared to new ID features that have been worked out during the last two years in the field. In addition to the live talks, ZEISS are offering a variety of pre-recorded talks and videos for visitors to enjoy, with Ambassador Noam Weiss from our partner organization Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI) informing how they safeguard the migration flyways in Eilat. Artist and US Ambassador Catherine Hamilton speaks about her experiences during the Amur Falcon expedition in Nagaland in India.

Within the ZEISS Digital Nature Hub itself, the new 360° exhibition experience offers the chance to explore a wide range of ZEISS products, in the same way you would expect from a trade show booth. Interactive touchpoints allow visitors to navigate around the booth, engaging with the featured products, videos and information, including a dedicated area for the new Victory SF 32 binoculars, as ZEISS’ latest addition to the portfolio. From the 21st – 23rd August, customers will also be able to visit the ‘Conversation Counter’ to get expert advice from ZEISS Product Specialists, via a live online chat.

Not forgetting about some of the younger nature enthusiasts out there, ZEISS are also delighted to introduce their “Kids Corner“ feature, offering a whole host of fun activities.
